Obituary for Steven Tyrone Zackowski

Steven Tyrone Zackowski, 60, of Milton, FL, passed away on July 20, 2014.

Steven was born in Milton on October 1, 1953. He was married to Debra Lynn (Chavers) Zackowski on November 7, 1992; they were married 22 years.

Steven worked his entire life in the construction industry. He began plumbing as a teenager and was known as the youngest journeyman plumber in Santa Rosa County. After working as a plumber, he later became a contractor and owned his own company, building houses all over the Milton area. He developed Southern Manor off Berryhill Road in Milton. When not working, he enjoyed traveling with his family and spending time breeding and training Tennessee Walking horses.

Steven is preceded in death by his parents, Earlene and Stanley Zackowski; brother, Timothy John Zackowski; sister, Janice McCormick; and nephew, Timmy McCormick.

Steven is survived by his sons, Anthony [wife, Jeannette and sons Braydon (15), Camren (10) and Dalton (3)] and Jeremy [wife, Amy and son Jacob (14)]; nieces and nephews Helena Zackowski [daughter Magan and son Jason], Sarah Zackowski [daughter Summer], Shanda Villane [husband, Mike and son Davyn], Ashley Zackowski and Daniel Zackowski [wife, Teece and daughters Taylor and Emma]; brothers Kenneth Stanley Zackowski [wife, Joan] and Joseph Rufus Zackowski.

The funeral service will be held at 3:00 pm at First Apostolic Church of Milton. Pastor Larry Webb and Pastor James Copeland will be officiating. Friends will be welcomed for visitation at 2:00 p.m. at the church. Burial will follow the funeral at Serenity Gardens in Milton.
