Barbara J. Ostenberg, 90, of Pensacola, FL passed away on September 29, 2016. She played in the marching band at Modesto High School until she graduated. After high school, she was a volunteer at the USO during World War II. She also volunteered at area hospitals and was an attendant on ambulances.
Barbara is preceded in death by her husband Alvin Ostenberg.
She is survived by her children Alan, Randy, Scott and Kristie, and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
The service will be held on Wednesday, October 5, 2016 at Barrancas National Cemetery Shelter A at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Ken Griffin officiating. Trahan Family Funeral Home of Pensacola is in charge of arrangements.
