Charles F. Ellard
1955 – 2016

Charles F. Ellard, 61 of Pensacola, FL passed away on November 4, 2016. Charles known by family and friends as “Charlie” was born to Dorothy D. James and Howard S. Ellard, Sr. on March 24, 1955.

He grew up in Pensacola; until he joined the Army. He did a tour in Okinawa Japan before returning back to the United States where he made a career as a Long Haul Truck Driver.

Charlie was preceded in death by both his mother and father.

His survivors include children, Amy L (Reese) Chambers, Tina M (Preston) Sampley, Christopher C (Sommer) Ellard, and Phillip M (Marcy) Ellard; grandchildren, Alyssa, Jordan, Taylor, Catlin, Dakota, Breanna, Dillan, Brian; numerous nieces and nephews; brother, Howard S. Ellard, Jr. of Pensacola and sister, Amy Ellard of Panama City.

Charlie was a loving father to his children, he loved spending time camping, fishing and working on automobiles with his sons and daughters. He will be forever loved and dearly missed by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him. Always in our Hearts, Fly high Dreamer!
