Obituary for Charlotte Ann Nix

Charlotte Ann  Nix
Charlotte Ann Nix went to be with the Lord on March 23, 2017. She was born in Ragland, AL to Clyde and Gracie Burroughs on March 21, 1939.
Charlotte had grown up in Ragland, AL with her two parents and her sister Marjorie. She had known love and kindness all her life. She loved her family and friends very much. Early on in her life she fell in love and married her husband, William Howard Nix; a navy man with whom which she traveled the world with and spent their life together.
She worked at Lakeview Baptist Church for an astounding thirty-eight years as a secretary and the children’s director. When she wasn’t working, she was making a difference in her community as a Red Cross Volunteer at the Navy Hospital and was an active member in her neighborhood watch.
Charlotte loved the church and she loved her Lord and Savior, she lived every aspect of her life to serve Him. She had touched many lives and was adored by all who came in touch with her. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother and she will be missed very much.
Charlotte is preceded in death by her parents, Clyde and Gracie Burroughs and her much beloved husband, William H. Nix, Sr.
She is survived by her children, William H. Jr. (Victoria) and Donna L. Wisdom (Kevin); grandchildren, William Nix (Chase), Karlie Bowman, Miranda Reithmiller (Steven), Adam Wisdom (Samantha), Leigh Pollock (Dakota), and Jakob Wisdom (Jennifer); great-grandchildren, Sage Pollock, Liam and Emily-Claire Bowman, Drew and Peyton Nix, and Emalynn Reithmiller.
“Granny Shot” had touched all these lives and so many more. She will be greatly missed.
