Mary L. Young, 85, of Pensacola passed away at her home on April 15, 2017. She was born on January 12, 1932 to Julian and Isabella Suggs, Sr.

She was a faithful Catholic, who graduated from both Catholic High School and Pensacola Junior College. Mary worked for the City of Pensacola for 20 years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack G. Young.

Mary leaves to cherish her memories: son, Michael G. Young (Michelle McCafferty Young); daughter, Katheryn Young Beaudoin (Joseph); two granddaughters and six great-grandchildren; brother, Graham Suggs and other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be from 5:30 – 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at Trahan Family Funeral Home, Pensacola.

Funeral mass will be at 9:30 a.m., Friday, April 21, 2017 at St. Thomas More Catholic Church with Father Nicholas Schumm, officiating with burial to follow at Barrancas National Cemetery.
