Condolence: I would like to say a few words on Frederick Charles Neveu. He was part of my life and my children’s (Tony and Melissa) life in the early 1990s. When I met Fred I could not believe how active and vibrant he was. He brought so much joy into our lives. He had such a positive outlook on life which carried on to us 3. The first time he took us to Oconto Falls Beach, he wore a speedo. Yes, a speedo! Oconto Falls was not used to that attire, and being a small town, there was lots of stares. But he had the confidence to own it. I have a lot of great memories with Fred and the kids; one being when we surprised the kids with a dog, Murphy. Many nice art projects done with school projects for the kids. He shared his love of music with the kids as well. He always had the stereo going. He decided to add his own drum set to this. It was okay, hopefully he had improve some throughout the years on this. We did a lot of traveling which included travels to Cumberland Island. Where we met his sister, she is so sweet. Also Door County. It was a wonderful time of my life. My children and I look back on such great memories; thanks to Fred and his outlook on life and all he taught us.
He was 11 years my senior so we were holding him back somewhat with his traveling. He was retired, I was still working, with young children in school. He left us which was devastating to us three but I knew it was for the best and he did to. My daughter Melissa back in 2008 wanted to find him which she did and they reconnected. She was able to meet Cathy a few times on their trips back to Wisconsin. Melissa would tell me how happy him and Cathy were together. That made me very happy. I am happy that he was able to live life how he wanted with his love of Art and traveling. I am deeply saddened by his unexpected loss. Fred touched so many lives. Thinking of Cathy and all of Fred’s family and friends during this difficult time.
Sincerely,
Judy Calewarts
Condolence: I will always remember all the good times I shared during my 8 year friendship with Fred. He was an incredible artist and his sense of humor always made me laugh. Rest in peace Fred. You will live on in my memories.
