Obituary for Donnie Lee Johnson Jr.

Donnie “Scooter” Johnson, Jr. was born on January 21, 1992 to Donnie Sr. and Felicia Johnson in Pensacola, FL where he attended Pensacola High School.

He lived a life of joy and laughter, was very outgoing and never afraid to try anything new. He loved being with his children, hanging out with family and friends, listening to music and most of all teasing his sister. We will always remember his infectious smile and his loving and caring personality, never to forget his famous words, “I’m Alright”! His life would seem too short to many, but those who were touched by him understood that the quality of existence far exceeds the quantity of time in which one lives.

Donnie was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Wade Sr and Cleo Johnson; maternal grandfather Forest Lee; maternal great grandfather Willie Gray and maternal uncle, Derek Lee.

Donnie is survived by both parents; Donnie Sr. and Felicia Johnson; his two children, Donnie Johnson III and Da’naria Johnson from Kiara Gross; one sister, Tenika Johnson (Demarquise Hosea); maternal grandmother, Glenda Reese; maternal great grandmother, Ethel Gray; seven aunts, Aretha Fairley (Robin Richardson), Tina (Ronald) Bush, Angie Johnson, Christine Johnson, Debra (Willie) Davis and Toinette Long; four uncles Ronnie (Kim) Johnson, Darrick Johnson, James Johnson, Larry Johnson and Wade (Brenda) Johnson; best friend, Joe Grace; special friend, Jasmine Webster; hangout cousins Shunderek, Courtney, Calvin, Chris and Khayah and a host of other family and friends.
