Obituary for Nicholas Jerome Allen

Nicholas Jerome Allen
Nicholas Jerome Allen was born in Milton, Florida on March 8, 1978 to Carl Allen and Vondell Jones.
He was a devoted husband and father who always put his family first. He loved sports, especially the Florida State Seminoles. He was also an avid fisherman. His youngest daughter Keimani says, “Wherever there was fish, my daddy was there to catch them.” He taught his girls how to fish and couldn’t wait to teach his son.
Nicholas was well liked and made friends wherever he went. His daughters say he was known to be strict because he wanted them to be strong and independent. He was quick to pull a prank on them to get a good laugh.
He was educated in the Santa Rosa County school system. At an early age, he accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Savior. He was a member of Deliverance Tabernacle Church.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Viada Rich Allen- Hamilton; uncle, Anthony Allen; and godfather, Walter Jones.
He leaves to cherish fond memories to his lovely and devoted wife, Kristen Allen; children, Kyleigh, Niyah, Keimani, and Nicholas II; mother, Vondell Jones; father, Carl Allen; special dad, David Hudson; devoted grandmother, Alogene Burnett; sisters, Chantal, and Donnita (Keith); brothers, Laronjay, Brian (Akeena), Charles (Merrisa), Travis, and Tavaris; god-mother/ aunt, Ruth Jones; Aunts, Jackie, Elaine (Les), and Parthenia; Uncles, Ronald “Bear”, Greg (Mary), Cassie, and Kent; mother-in-law, Christine Barone; sisters-in-law, Kerri (Clay), and Kimberly; nieces, Karmellia, Merridian, Christine, Mia, Quamoria, Kamari, and Kaliyah; nephews, Amari, Jaylan, Colby, Jackson, Adrick, Nathan, Maliek, Dwayne, and Keith III; a host of great aunts, great uncles, cousins, relatives, and friends.
Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. and Funeral Services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, July 3, 2017, at Trahan Family Funeral Home of Milton in the Milton Chapel. Rev. Murray Hamilton will be officiating. Trahan Family Funeral Home of Milton is in charge of arrangements.
