Obituary for Richard Guy Johnston
He is survived by his wife Linda Johnston; step daughter Elizabeth Fraser and her husband Daniel Frasure; brother, Johnny Johnston Jr.; and a sister, Mitchel Ann Heath; along with a beloved cousin, Keith Hornsby; nieces, nephews, and mother-in-law and father-in-law, Johnnie and Gene Roberts.
Richard was loved by many. He was born in Milton, Fl. and has lived his whole life in Allentown. He was a proud Panther graduate and football player. He graduated with a bachelor’s degree in history from the University of West Florida, joined the army in 1983, and served until 2000 when he was honorably discharged for medical reasons.
Memorial services will be held at Trahan Funeral Home in Milton, Fl. on Saturday, September 2, 2017 at 11:00 a.m.
After the service, there will be a family and friends gathering held at 77 S. Madison Ave., Pensacola, Fl. 32505, the home of Betty and Michael Wilson.
