Ruddy
Obituary for Dan Howell Ruddy
Mr. Ruddy served in the US Air Force and has been retired for 31 years from the Pensacola Navy Yard where he worked as an oxygen technician. Mr. Ruddy was a die-hard Alabama fan! He always had a smile ready; he was full of laughter and loved being with his family. He was a wonderful father and devoted husband…to know him was to love him.
Mr. Ruddy was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Frances Douglas and Renee Childers, all of Calera.
Survivors include: his wife of 26 years, Carolyn Ruddy of Milton; two daughters, Karon (Neal) Davis of Orange Beach, AL and Sharon (Larry) Robertson, of Daphne, AL; stepdaughter Sonya (Tim) Edenfield of Marianna, FL; 8 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 1-2 pm on Tuesday, September 5th at the Trahan Family Funeral Home of Milton with the service following at 2:00.
