Obituary for Arnold Norris

Arnold Norris was born on January 11, 1934 in Opp, AL. A respected resident of Milton, FL, passed away unexpectedly September 6, 2017 at 6:45 p.m. He leaves behind his wife, Jean Norris of Milton, FL; two sons, Delano A. Norris and wife Debbie Tatum Norris and Don D. Norris and wife Mary F. Weber Norris of Milton, FL.; three grandchildren: Stuart D. Norris, Jenny L. Norris Livesey and her husband John R. Livesey, and Kyle Allan Norris; and only surviving brother, Grover Norris of Opp, AL.
Arnold and Jean Norris moved to Milton in 1959 with their two boys, Don and Delano, to seek a better life for their family. Arnold Norris found employment in the residential mechanical construction trade and eventually was employed with Fluor Daniels at the Monsanto location where he retired. Jean Norris had secured employment with Monsanto prior to them relocating from Opp, AL. Both Arnold and Jean were always active members of church. For many years Faith Chapel Assembly was their place of worship outside of their home. Arnold was no stranger to hard physical work. Coming from a large family of share croppers, plowing a mule and picking cotton as a boy, he knew what it took to get ahead in life. He was a hard man, a tough man, and a man with a Big Heart.
