Obituary for John David West Sr.
John David West, Sr.
1937 - 2017
John David West Sr., life-long resident passed way September 27, 2017 in Pensacola, Florida. He is predeceased by 2 daughters, Molly Bramlett and Ginny Jones, his Mom, Dad, Sisters and Brothers. He is survived by 7 children. Sherri West Teston, George G West, John D. West Jr, Ira R.West, Susan West Pyritz, Robert (Robby) F. West and Amanda West Wall. Many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and honorary son Dennis Zills.
John was an electrician by trade. He was a Veteran of The Korean War serving in The US Navy, and a very proud American. His southern gentlemen heritage ran deep in his soul. He was an avid computer geek even at his age and loved his computer, phone, and iPad. He loved his guns and was a dedicated supporter of The 2nd Amendment. He enjoyed the simple life, but always loved when he was with his family. He will forever be remembered in our hearts! Memorial service will be Saturday, September 30, at 11:00 a.m. at Ensley Alliance Church, 512 W Detroit Blvd. Pensacola, Florida, officiated by Bruce D. Teston of Milton Florida.
