Obituary for Patricia Elaine Dobransky

Patricia Elaine Dobransky went to be with the Lord on Thursday, January 4, 2018. She was born in Brewton, Alabama on November 13, 1948 to David Steele and Lucille carter Steele.
After graduating from W.S. Neal High School, Pat moved to Pensacola to attend beauty college. During this time, she met her husband Dennis who was stationed at NAS Pensacola and they married on April 12, 1969. Pat worked as a beautician, then became a full-time homemaker. Her passion in life was always children, which led her to work as an instructor at a preschool, then on to starting her own business of in-home child care. For many years she lovingly cared for numerous children in her home. Pat was always a very giving and nurturing soul, finding ways through church and community to help and take care of others, including assisting Dennis in jail ministry for over 22 years. She was devout Catholic Christian and an involved member of Nativity of Our Lord Parish.
Pat was a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother who will be greatly missed by all of those whose lives she touched.
She is preceded in death by her father, David B. Steele; her mother, Lucille Carter Steele; and her sister, Elizabeth Ann Pugh.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband of 48 years Dennis Dobransky; her daughter, Hilarie Dobransky; her granddaughter, Ryley; her brothers, Braxton Steele, Bryant Steele, and Michael Steele; and numerous nieces and nephews.
We will be celebrating her life at Nativity of Our Lord Parish, 9945 Hillview Road, Pensacola, FL on Friday, January 12, 2018. The funeral Mass will begin at 10:45 a.m. The family will receive friends and relatives an hour and a half prior to the funeral mass. Burial will follow at Barrancas National Cemetery in Pensacola, FL.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Vincent de Paul Society in care of Nativity of Our Lord Parish, 9945 Hillview Road, Pensacola, FL 32514.
