Condolence From: Frank Burkett

Condolence: I had the pleasure of knowing Ms Opal more years than I can remember..She was one of the best friends I ever had.She helped me with my family research.Helped me put that information into the Butler Co. History Book.We would travel to historical sights all over Butler Co. always searching-researching history.In the 1990 s a TV show Star Trek DS-9 came out and I lived at a place in Korea that had no "English Anything" and she recorded the show for me every Saturday Night and when it got full with 6 hours she would mail it to me and I would watch each tape 10-15 times.They were that important to me.The last time we met I knew something was wrong and she did also.She said that she couldn't remember as well but then at that time she was 89 and then she was up and gone.No one knew were she was other than a child came and took her to her home and that was the last so many heard from her so I made a good gift to the Butler Co. Historical Society in her name many years ago in her name...Ms. Opal you were one of the best friends I ever had.You were one of the best people I ever met.The World lost a very wonderful person who had the pleasure of knowing you. Rest in Peace Ms. Opal and you will always be remembered by me and many-many more whose sprits you always lifted up and never was to busy to help..God Bless-Frank Burkett
