Holland
Obituary for William David "Billy" Holland
Billy graduated from Allentown High School in 1957. On January 23, 1961, he married Mary Jane Dennis and began work at Monsanto. Shortly thereafter, he was drafted into the U.S. Army where he and Mary Jane started their family and he served until he was honorably discharged on December 31, 1967. At that time, he returned to work at Monsanto until his retirement.
Billy was a faithful member of Pine Level Baptist Church where he served as a deacon since January 9, 2005.
Survivors include: his wife of 57 years, Mary Jane Dennis Holland; sons, David (Laurie) Holland and Keith (Mandy) Holland; daughter, Donna (Larry) Bullock; ten grandchildren; one great-grandchild; brothers, Bruce (Diane) Holland, Melvin Holland, and Charles (Debbie) Holland; sisters, Colleen Sutler and Wilma Joyner.
Visitation will be held from 2:30 p.m. until funeral service begins at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 1, 2018 at Pine Level Baptist Church in Jay, FL.
Burial will follow at Walling Cemetery.
Pallbearers are: Garrett Holland, Wesley Settle, Crock Settle, B.J. Holland, Chad Holland, Jimmy Holland, Wade Holland, and Dwight Nowling.
Honorary pallbearers are his Sunday School Class.
