Esther Frances Wilson
1934 – 2018
Esther Frances Wilson went home to be with the Lord on March 5, 2018. She was born on February 3, 1934 to Charles and Lucy Greenlun in Boston, MA.
Esther married her husband William F. Wilson, whom she lovingly called “My Bill”, in 1952 and moved to Pennsylvania in 1954. They later moved to Ohio for 10 years, then moved on to New Hampshire for 40 years, finally on to ‘retirement’ in Florida.
Esther was involved in many works for the Lord as a devoted Christian; which included but not limited to: home, local church, world-wide missions, Christian schools, camps and dear friends. None of this would have been possible without the love and support of her husband and children.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Helen Watson; brothers, Charles and Francis and son-in-law, Paul Cornell.
Esther leaves to cherish her memories: loving husband, William F. “Bill” Wilson; children, Diane F. (Tom) Blanchette, Stuart A. Wilson, Lorraine F. Cornell, Joyce F. (Bill) Boynton and Ruth F. Wilson; ten grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a host of relatives and friends.
Esther’s heart’s desire was to see all of her children, grandchildren and greats… saved and serving.
Visitation will be from 10:30 a.m. until funeral service begins at 11:30 a.m., Thursday, March 8th at Faith Baptist Church, 3600 Creighton Rd, Pensacola, FL.
Burial will be at Barrancas National Cemetery at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, March 9, 2018.
