Lori Lynn Simmons passed away in the hospital on March 7, 2018 in Orlando, FL from complications following a heart attack. She was 38. Lori was born on October 2, 1979 in Milton, FL.
Lori was a resident of Milton, FL for most of her life. She loved watching FSU football, listening to country music, and anything outdoors whether it was having cookouts, camping, tubing or going to the beach. She also loved eating at La Hacienda and Nims. Her specialty dishes requested at gatherings were always corn salad or baked beans. One of her favorite places to be was her front porch where she made memories with so many friends and family members. Family was the most important part of Lori’s life. Most of all, she loved being a Mother to her three amazing children and was excited about becoming a grandmother (LoMa) soon. Her spunky personality and beautiful soul touched so many lives.
She was preceded in death by her father, Sergei Wilson.
Lori is survived by her mother, Libby Mills (Duke) of Milton, FL; her sisters, Nikki Paino (Jim) of San Diego, CA and Sara Parkin (Jamie) of Crestview, FL; and her brother, Matt Borelli (Grace) of Raleigh, NC. She is also survived by her two sons, Devin Johns and Tyson Simmons, both of Milton, FL; her daughter Brooklyn Simmons of Milton, FL; and her fiancé, Andre Shipman, also of Milton, FL. She had many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins, as well as friends who were like family to her.
A celebration of Lori’s life will be held at Trahan Funeral Home of Milton on Tuesday, March 13, 2018. Family and friends viewing will be from 12-2 pm and the service will follow at 2 pm.
