Condolence From: Lisa

Condolence: I want to express my condolence and share some comfort and hope from God's word, the Bible. Isaiah 25:8 promises that God will wipe away tears from all faces because a time is coming when he will do away with death forever. (Revelation 21:3,4) His word also assures us that sickness and wickedness will be removed from the earth. (Isaiah 33:24; Psalm 37:10,11) Another promise is that all those "sleeping in death" will be brought back to life. (1 Thessalonians 4:13; John 5:28,29; Isaiah 26:19) What a wonderful hope we have of being able to welcome back our loved ones who have died to perfect health and conditions forever!

Until that time comes, our loving, heavenly Father assures us at Psalm 34:18 that he "is close to the brokenhearted" and "He saves those who are crushed in spirit." So rest-assured that he understands your pain and grief and is eager to help you by giving you the strength you need to cope with your loss. (Philippians 4:13)
