Obituary for Jeffery Allen Shoemaker

Jeffery Allen Shoemaker
God has said, I Love You, He said it in a thousand ways He created you.
He’s taken care of you. Even when you didn’t know it. He was
showing love to you. God has said it over and over to you.

Jeffery Allen Shoemaker was born in Pensacola on August 4, 1968 to Mother Pearl Evans.

Jeffery was a very gifted drum player. He taught himself at an early age how to play drums by beating on his mother’s pots and pans. Jeffery played drums in the church where he became an anointed and skilled drummer as he got older. He attended public school and graduated from Branell Institute.

He loved walking, jogging, working on computers and studying law. He was a good man, who loved helping people, rather it be his family, friends or a complete stranger. Jeffery would sometimes go above and beyond the call of duty to help you out. He had a unique style and he was always fun to be around. He rarely ever asked for anything but when he was needed he gave his all to help you.

Jeffery will be greatly missed, but he will never ever be forgotten.

He was preceded in death by his father, Willie B. Shoemaker; grandmother, Dora Jordan; two aunts and three uncles.

Jeffery leaves to cherish his memories, devoted mother, Mother Pearl Evans; a loving brother, Tavares (Angelia) Evans; two nieces, three nephews; aunts, Annie Richey and Overseaer Mary Williams; god-sister, Fay Jackson; god-mother, Mary Samuels and a host of cousins, relatives and friends.

God does not make mistakes; in case you didn’t know.
He gave me my son for 49 years, now it’s his time to go.
Thank you, Lord, for lending him to me.
