Obituary for Margaret Dianne Andrews

Margaret Dianne Andrews, Pensacola native, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 14th at Sacred Heart Hospital. She was in the presence of her loving family and special friends.
Dianne also known as “Momsie” by her immediate family and close friends was diagnosed with Ovarian cancer in September 2017. Dianne faced her disease with grace, courage, and dignity. She spent the last eight months fighting her foe with regular chemo treatments. The family wishes to thank the Sacred Heart Oncology Group. A special thank you to the “Pilots for Christ” organization which is a religious organization located in Monroe County, Alabama. The PFC is a non-denominational organization whose mission is to glorify God by promoting the gospel of Jesus Christ through providing air transportation due to medical reasons. Dianne was very talented in many different areas of her life. She was the founder of the Friendship cottage where she managed a gift shop and conducted paint workshops. In addition, Dianne was accomplished in many artistic occupations as well as business services. She was a licensed hair stylist and she was employed by the We Care organization. Dianne’s hobbies included painting, gardening and fishing.
Dianne was born in Pensacola on March 10th, 1945. She was 73 years old. She was the daughter of Raymond Albert Martin Jacobs and Margaret Quarrier Restucher. Woodrow Bernard Restucher was her beloved stepfather.
Dianne was preceded in death by her husband James Everett Andrews Sr., and her father Raymond Albert Martin Jacobs and her stepfather Woodrow Bernard Restucher.

She is survived by her beloved mother Margaret Quarrier Restucher, sister LTC Donna Farmer, USA (Ret.), brother David Cushman Restucher Sr., (Martha Echols); Her four children, James Everett Andrews Jr. (Vondie Whatley), Christopher Scott Andrews (Tina Edwards), Adam Jeffrey Andrews (Dawn Dwyer), and Katherine Andrews Graziani (LTCOL Michael Anthony Graziani /USMC); six grandchildren, Joshua Bryan Andrews, Miranda Kate Andrews, Christopher Scott Andrews II, Cora Ann Andrews, Anthony Augustus Graziani, Andrew Marcus Graziani; and three great-grand children - Brinleigh Katherine Andrews, Ryder Scott Andrews, Hadley Faye Andrews; sister in law Adell Martin (Kyle) and brother in law Danny Andrews (Linda) and many special nephews and nieces.
Dianne leaves behind special friends – Donna Jones, Barbara Helton, Betty Mraz. She was blessed with many dear close friends.

A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, May 17th at 6:00 pm at Trahan Family Funeral Home (Corner of Beverly Parkway and “W” Street) The visitation will begin at 4:30 pm -5:45pm. Dianne will be buried at sea with her husband at a later date.
