Obituary for Walter B Pantle

Walter Benjamin Pantle,78, of Pensacola, Florida, went peacefully home to be with the Lord on Monday May 14, 2018.
Walter was born on July 13, 1939, in Atchison, Kansas, to Walter William and Reba(Deppen) Pantle. Walter married his sweetheart Carol Ann Kidwell, on June 1, 1958, in Rushville, Missouri. After marrying, they moved to Pensacola, Florida, where he began his career as a swithing technician for Southern Bell Telephone Company, he later retired in 1994.
Walter was a Mason with the Masonic Lodge #352 for 52 years. He was a dedicated family man and a man of Christ. He loved tinkering in his workshop, wood working, fishing, and was an avid railroad fan. He had a great sense of humor and loved to laugh. He cherished his wife of 60 years, his children, grandchildren, and great grandchild.
Walter is survived by his loving wife Carol(Kidwell) Pantle; sons, William Pantle, Sam(Marie) Pantle; daughter, Angela (Vernon Gray) Mayo; grandchildren, Hannah(Alex) Sibbach, Christy Pantle, Misty Pantle, Dustin Pantle; great grandchild Elijah Nellums; nephews, Mike Pantle and Mark Pantle.
Walter is preceeded in death by his parents, Walter W. and Reba J. Pantle; sisters, Bessie Ford and Doris Gordon; brother, Robert Pantle, and niece Patricia Kelley.
A visitation will be held Saturday May 19, 2018 starting at 3:30 at Trahan Family Funeral Home (419 Yoakum Court Pensacola, Florida 32505)
