Margaret Ann Salter Miller
1936 - 2018

Margaret Ann Salter Miller, age 81, of the Wallace Community passed away peacefully June 1, 2018 surrounded by her loving family at her home. She was born and lived her life in the Chumuckla Community.

She was a registered nurse, serving at several local health facilities; including director of nurses at Jay Hospital.

Margaret was a long-time member of Wallace Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Milton and Thomas D. Salter, Sr.; as well as; her brother, Thomas D. Salter, Jr.

Margaret is survived by her husband, Leon Miller; Children: Lynn Miller, Darvene Miller Ackerman (Mark), Alan Miller (Joy), Monica Thompson (Brian); Grandchildren: Sherrie Holmes (Matt), Lili Caroline Miller, Carson Miller, and William Thompson; Great-grandson: Atticus Holmes; Sisters: Gwen Enfinger, Winona Griswold (Copeland), Mable Cotton (Jeffery); Brother: Dick Salter (Glenda) and many in-laws, nieces, nephews and friends.

Family will receive friends from 10:30 a.m. until funeral service begins at 12 noon, Tuesday, June 5, 2018 at Wallace Baptist Church with Pastor Andy Martin and Reverend La Don Hall officiating.

Burial will be at Elizabeth Chapel Community Cemetery.
