Edward Jerome Sparks Jr.

Edward Jerome Sparks Jr. “Lil Man” was born March 13, 1977 to his parents Mary Sampson and Edward Jerome Sparks Sr.
Edward was educated in Escambia County Schools and is a graduate of Pensacola High School class of 1994.
Edward confessed Christ at an early age. He joined Good Hope AME Church and was baptized under the pastor ship of the late Reverend Johnny Stallworth. He loved going to church with his grandmother hearing the word of God.
He Loved to work outdoors doing various jobs such as concrete finisher, lawn service, and offshore drilling.
He met his longtime girlfriend Connie Ribardi and they were blessed with two boys Izal Jerome Sparks and Jordan Doyal Ribardi.
Edward Jr. departed this life Sunday June 3, 2018
He is preceded in death by his grandparents Robert (Ella) Sparks and L.P. (Inez) George.
He leaves to cherish his two sons, Izal Jerome Sparks and Jordan Doyal Ribardi, of Patterson, LA; his loving and devoted parents, Edward and Carolyn Sparks Sr.; his brothers, Reginald Sparks, of Pensacola, FL, Master of Arms 2nd class petty officer Tremayne (Alesia) Sparks of Cuba, Machinery Repairman 2nd class Antonio (La’Nashia) Sparks of Norfolk, VA; six uncles, Raymond (Leonna) Sparks of Houston, TX., Marshall (Claudia) Sparks of Jonsboro, GA, Robert Sparks Jr., Lewis (Margaret) George, Eddie George Sr., Melvin (Margaret) George of Pensacola; three aunts, Florence Vernon of Goosecreck, SC, Paulette Lee of Summerville, SC, and Juanita Flowers of Pensacola, FL; three nephews, Clifford Monroe, Reginald Sparks Jr. “Jmar”, and Emmanuel Sparks; five nieces, Rachel Sparks, Madison Sparks, Mallory Sparks, Ky’mani Allen, and Amora Sparks, and host of cousins and other relatives and friends.
A service will be held on Saturday June 9, 2018 at Pace Temple CME Church with a Visitation starting at 11:00 am and service at 1:00pm, Internment will take place at Holy Cross at 3:00pm
