Obituary for Edward August Scheper III

Edward August Scheper III
Edward “Big Ed” Scheper, III, 63, of Pensacola, FL is gone fishing. Our Dad was a Redneck Renaissance Man who brought his special brand of ingenuity and artistry to every aspect of his life. More than anything, he loved his children, grandchildren, and family. He lived a life as big as his heart. He served this country in the United States Navy. He was requested by his Commanding Officers as a Personal Steward, because of his exceptional culinary skills. He received additional training, and accolades, for his creative confections. Before Cake Boss, there was “Schep”, who brought innovation to cake design for the Navy and for our birthdays and special occasions. Our dad was often Fishing or Hunting with friends and family. He loved Super Bass, Dancing, Women, Dancing Women and any reason to throw a Party. Decorating for Christmas and Halloween are two more examples of his talent and aptitude for creativity and excess. Edward is survived by his loving Children, Edward A. Scheper, IV and Jennifer Jourdan; Granddaughters, Bella G. Reagan and Lauralai N. Scheper; Grandson, Edward A. Scheper, V; Mother, Edith Greensfielder; Sisters, Sharon Meyers, Stacey Walken and Marti Scheper. Edward Scheper was a live big, love big, eat big, artistic energy. There is no substitute for our Dad, “Big Ed”, and we will miss him and the ways he lived.
