Obituary for Susan Jean Baker Lee

Susan Jean Baker Lee

Born: December 13, 1951 in Camp Kilmer (Piscataway), NJ

Died: July 4, 2018 in Pensacola, FL

Susan was the first born child of William and Janet Baker and she was the light of her grandparents life. Susan graduated from Henry Hudson Regional School in Highlands, NJ, class of 1970. She then became a Licensed Practical Nurse and worked in New Jersey, Virginia and Florida. Susan was a talented artist and had a creative spirit and she dearly loved her daughter Gwendolyn. Susan ran an animal sanctuary for a number of years in Pensacola, the Dove & Ferret Rescue. Nursing back to health and adopting out animals was a natural for this lovely lady who always enjoyed drawing, painting and caretaking.

Susan was predeceased by her grandparents, Charles and Mary Zimmerman; her father, William Baker; and her brother Warren Baker. She is survived by her mother Janet Baker, her daughter Gwendolyn, her brothers Bruce, Lee, John, Glenn and Brian, her sister Beverly, and her half siblings Bill and Lisa. She is also survived by the spouses of her siblings, numerous nephews, nieces and extended family.

Susan was a loving, kind and gentle soul who will be missed by all of her family and friends.
