Mary Lee Gee Payne
1958 - 2018

Mary Lee Gee Payne was born September 23, 1958 in Atmore, AL to Ruby Henderson Gee and John Ashley Gee.

As a young woman Mary moved to Pensacola, FL where she attended Pensacola Junior College for two years.

She loved to tell all of her stories of being a warrior. If you knew “Mary Gee” then you know she was a fighter. Still fought until she took her last breath. Mom made peace with Jesus and changed her life around.

Mary is now reunited in heaven with her father, John Ashley Gee; husband, Eddie Lewis Payne; granddaughter, Mikeria Fountain and nephew, Anthony Dewayne Gee.

Mary leaves to cherish her memory and keep her legacy going – her daughters, Latanya Gee, Jacqueline Payne, Jessica Payne, Crystal Brown and Dianna Brown; her mother, Ruby Gee; only sister, Annie Pearl Gee Johnson; brothers, James Gee, Johnny Gee and Willie Gee; half-brothers, Robert Tims, Johnny Tims and Steve Tims; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
