Obituary for Walter T Browne

Walter Tylden Browne, 75, of Pensacola, Florida went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, September 12, 2018. He was born on September 10, 1943 to his loving parents, Leo Charles and Cecile Browne in Richmond, Virginia.
Throughout Walter’s childhood he and his family moved around numerous times due to his father’s job. He graduated from Murrah High School in Jackson, MS., attended Mississippi State College and specialized in steel detailing as a draftsman. Walter had many achievements throughout his life. He served his country in the United States Marine Corps. as an artilleryman. He also studied and taught martial arts for over 50 years, earning a second-degree black belt in Shotokan Karate and a fourth-degree black belt in Aikido. Walter gave back to his community as a volunteer Escambia County Sheriff’s Search and Rescuer and Parking Enforcement. He loved the Lord and was a devoted member of the Cokesbury United Methodist Church.
Walter now walks alongside the Lord with his parents, Leo and Cecile Browne.
He leaves to cherish his memories his loving wife, Barbara “Bobbie” Browne; his brother, Graham (Pat) Browne; children, Tracy (Greg) Pierce, Kellie (Lynn) Brossette, Richard (Laura) Browne, Jason (Anna) Browne; nine grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and dear friends.
The family would like to give a special thank you to Lynn Vignolo, who has been a great help and an even better friend.
