William Eugene Turner
March 18, 1944 – September 17, 2018

William Eugene Turner, 74, of Pensacola, FL passed peacefully in his home. He had a short, but courageous battle with bone cancer. William faced it like he faced everything in his life, head on.
He was a caring soul. William took care of everyone else’s needs and wants before his own. He was blessed in many ways, with good neighbors, great friends, and the love and respect of his children. William was fiercely loyal and expected the same.
William was connected to the sea; the water was like his home. He loved to fish for mullet. Fishing was a part of who he was, from very early in life.
He loved his dogs; Cuddles, Diego, Lucy, and Scrappy
He will be remembered as an energetic, caring, and generous Father, Paw Paw, Brother, Uncle and Friend.

He now rejoins his parents, Emmett and Effie Turner; Siblings, Beatrice Prince, Cleo Turner, Herman Turner, and Mary Bryan
William leaves to cherish his memories and wisdom Children, William Turner II, Theresa Turner, Joshua Turner, and Timothy Turner; his Siblings, Johnny, Edward (Dorothy), Louis, Rilo (Faye), Linda (Jack), Alice (Bobby), Margaret, and Douglas; Grand Children, Joshua Turner Jr., Trinity Jones, Summer Smith, Sarah Smith, Serena Eddins, Preston Wright, Gracie Wright, Gabby Madai, and Annabelle Madai; Great-Grandchildren, Lauran, Lailah, Salem, Clementine, Jackson, Julian, Jose, A.J., Lillianna, Stephen, and Izzy; Numerous Nieces and Nephews, and Many Friends
A memorial Service will be held at Trahan Family Funeral Home in Pensacola, September 29, 2018. We will receive guess at 4:00 p.m., with a service following immediately after at 5:00 p.m.
