Jonathan Michael Cox
December 20, 1968 – September 26, 2018
Jonathan Michael Cox, 49, of Lillian, AL passed away September 26, 2018. Jonathan was born December 20, 1968 to his parents Bobby and Juanita Cox in Mobile, AL.
Mike grew up in Anniston, AL and graduated from Anniston high school. After school he enlisted in the Navy were he proudly served our country for four years. Mike’s biggest career achievement was being the owner/operator of Bama Boat Works. He was also a devoted Baptist and a proud Harley Davidson rider. Mike never met a stranger and would go out of his way to make anyone feel welcomed. You could often find him laughing and telling so many stories. He loved his life at the beach. Mike was always either on the water or riding his Harley, life was good.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Ernest and Okla Cox, and David and Elizabeth Harrell.
Mike leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife Chris Tuggle Cox, of AL; his son, Jonathan Michael Cox II, of AL; daughter, Tiffanee Lace Tuggle, of AL; step son, Stephen Cody Tuggle, of TX; parents, Bobby and Juanita Cox, of AL; sister and brother-in-law, Rina and Eric Mountain; and niece and nephew, Riley and Corbin Mountain.
A service will take place on Friday October 5, 2018 at Barrancas National Cemetery at 12:00p.m. A Celebration of life will take place Sunday October 7, 2018 at 2:00p.m. at Flora Bama Ole River Grill.
