Mary Ethel Hicks, 80, entered into eternal peace on October 29, 2018 in Crestview, Florida. Mary was born on September 14, 1938 to Abraham Smiley and Freda Mae Assad in Middlesborough, Kentucky.

Mary is previously from Mullins, West Virginia. She loved to gamble, play bingo and travel. She was a loving grandmother and great grandmother.

Mary is preceded in death by her parents, Abraham and Freda Smiley; brother, Bill Marsee; grandson, Nicholas James Webb; husband, Carl Dennis Hicks; stepson, Dennis Eugene Hicks.

She is survived by her son and daughter in law, Paul A. and Nancy Webb; sons Steve Webb and Bill Webb; daughter and son in law, Claytina and Michael Mosley; stepdaughter and son in law, Linda and Bob Lavin; stepson and daughter in law Danny and Mary Hicks; stepdaughter, Lisa Hicks; son, Tyler Hicks; grandchildren, Aaron Webb, Jacob Webb, Amanda Gray, Abraham Webb, Nathaniel Lee Webb, Natalie Webb, Jonathan Mosley, Timothy Mosley, William Mosley, Jamie L. Agerton, David H. LaDue, Jeff LaDue, Cody Lavin, Danny W. Hicks, Brian Hicks and Cloe Hicks; and numerous great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Friday, November 2, 2018 from 10:00-11:00 am., at Trahan Funeral Home in Milton, with services to immediately follow at 11:00 am.
