Ann Marie Staley
November 19, 1952 – November 2, 2018

It is with great sadness that the family of Ann Marie Staley announces her passing after a brief illness, on Friday, November 2, 2018, at the age of 65 years at her home in Pensacola, FL surrounded by her loving family.

Ann was born in Akron, CO and grew up on an Alfalfa farm 2 miles outside of Brush, CO. After high school she received her CNA Certificate and began working at a nursing home called Ebenezer. Being a very caring individual, Ann encouraged her children to volunteer at the nursing homes; painting the residents nails and handing out popcorn during bingo.

After moving to Florida in 1990, Ann continued to work at nursing homes as a CNA until she retired from Baptist Manor in 2014. In her spare time Ann liked to paint ceramics, spend time with her family, read and take care of her fur babies.

She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Ruth Brungardt of Brush, CO.

Ann will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 23 years, John Staley, Sr.; her daughters, Annette (Ralph) Taylor, Kimberly Roberts and Tracey Roberts of Pace, FL; her son, Glendon Adam (Heather) Roberts of Pensacola and her stepson, John Staley, Jr. (Traci) of Northport, AL.

Ann will also be fondly remembered by her two brothers, David (Diana) Brungardt of Sterling, CO and Mark (Liz) Brungardt of Mankato, MN; eleven grandchildren; one great-grandchild and a host of relatives and friends.

Visitation will be from 1:30 p.m. until funeral service begins at 2:30 p.m., Tuesday, November 6, 2018 at Trahan Family Funeral Home, Pensacola with Brother Charles Mitchell officiating.
