Mary Madaliene Brooks, born on 21 September 1938 entered eternal rest on 02 November 2018. Born in Worland, WY to Refujio Roa and Paula Marguez. Mary had 5 brothers, Abraham, Danny, Jimmy, Sefarino and Domingo; 4 sisters, Inez, Ester, Henrietta and Patsy, of which all siblings have now preceded many in death.

In 1956, she met George G. Peterson Sr. and stayed with him for 24 years, she separated in the early 1980’s and in February of 1987 married Danny W. Brooks until they divorced in Jan. 1996.
Mary had 3 children with George Sr., George Jr., a second child stillborn 7 years after George Jr., and Kimberly Ann, 15 years younger than George Jr.

Mary had a 10th grade education but was a quick learner, fluent in Spanish and managed to establish a career in the Electrical Technical Field for working for the Department of Defense in Lancaster, California in the mis 80s and 90s.

In 2003, Mary moved to Milton, Florida, to be with her children and 3 grandchildren, Eric Grant Peterson, Monica Dawn Peterson (Lafond) and Zachary William Hodge, where she retired and finally went Home. Mary loved all her family, she was a strong-willed woman full of love and passion for life. She loved going to church, reading her Bible, crochet, walking and cooking. She was an amazing cook. We will always remember the LOVE she put into her cooking and that will never be forgotten.
