Condolence: Mr. Willis was taken from us too soon. I guess heaven needed him for heavenly “Brain Bawl” He was my favorite teacher ever. He made AP American history so much fun at Woodham. I am so glad I participated in sending Mr Willis to Italy. It was awesome to see how happy he was and he loved sharing all his wits and advice to all of us connected through Facebook. God Bless you Mr. Willis.

Condolence From: Beth Colgan
Condolence: I am so very sorry for your family's loss. Mr. Willis was one of the best teachers I have ever had, and it is because of teachers like him that I am a teacher today. I never liked history before I had Mr. Willis, but the way in which he taught the subject ignited in me a love for learning all about the past. I remember walking down the hallways of Woodham with my friends, furiously studying the hundreds of questions/answers we needed to memorize for each of Mr. Willis' tests and just being happy. He challenged me in ways that I hadn't been challenged before, and I wanted so badly to do well in his classes. If that meant studying for hours on end, then that's what I would do without complaint. Mr. Willis is a person who I will never forget, and I think all of you for sharing a bit of him each day as he taught high school to us. My heart is heavy with the news of his passing, but please know that he will live on forever in the minds of all us former students.
