Obituary for Dale Patrick Manfred

Dale P. Manfred, 59, of Pace, FL passed away unexpectedly at home on Sunday, November 11, 2018. He was born on November 14, 1958 at the USAF Hospital, Lackland AFB, in San Antonio, TX. His school years were spent at Wheelus Air Base, Tripoli, Libya; Otis AFB at Cape Cod, MA; DesMoines, IA and finally at schools in Pensacola, FL. He graduated from Woodham High School in 1976.

Dale learned carpentry from his uncle, Fred Lovern and helped build his own home. Dale’s main lifelong working lifestyle was in Automotive Mechanics. He was known by friends and family as one of the best auto mechanics they have ever known. He was an A.S.E. Rated Master Mechanic and was an employee of the U.S. Postal Service, serving as lead mechanic for the postal vehicles.

Survivors include: his son, Tyler P. Manfred of Florence, SC; his brother, Don M. (Lea) Manfred of Pace, FL; and his father, Donald W. Manfred of Pensacola, FL.

Dale didn’t like attending funeral services and wanted his loving friends and extended family to remember him as they knew him. Therefore, a memorial visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Friday, November 16, 2018 at Trahan Family Funeral Home, 419 Yoakum Court, Pensacola, FL.
