Obituary for Pat Randall

Pat Randall, generous and jovial father of two, slipped quietly and unexpectedly from this world at the age of 60.

Pat was born on June 6, 1958 in Bedford, Indiana to Leland and Idella (Shane) Randall as the youngest of 5 boys. He served for 21 years in the Air Force before earning his Master’s Degree in Industrial Engineering and returning to work in logistics for the Department of Defense. He remained close friends with his wife of 17 years, Sandra Ellen Knight, as they raised their two children, Desiree and Joshua.

Pat was known for his infectious smile, his generous heart, and his quick wit. He was a gifted and meticulous mechanic with a passion for enjoying the countryside on his Harley Davidsons. He also amassed a collection of classic rock music which he often appreciated at loud volumes. Pat’s generous spirit extended into his ability to make others laugh and proved a constant reminder to enjoy the little things in life.

Pat was preceded in death by his father, Leland, his mother, Idella, and his eldest brother, Rex. He is survived by his ex-wife, Sandra, his two children, Desiree (Dan) Carlton, and Joshua Randall, three grandchildren, Emeline, Lorenne, and Lucas Carlton, his brothers Stephen, Duane, and David Randall, and several nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, 11/27/18 at Trahan Family Funeral Home of Milton from 5-7pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Escambia and Santa Rosa chapters of Toys for Tots.
