A Remarkable Man

I know that words are not enough during a time like this but I just wanted to share what Pat meant to me.

He was the first official phone call that I received when I started working in CAM 5 years ago.  He welcomed me aboard and immediately gave me the AFSOC story and told me that it sounded like we'd make a good team.

Over the years we had many work related conversations and important discussions about how pumpkin pie should be considered a breakfast food.  I think he was the only other person in the world that loved pumpkin pie as much as me.

I am honored that I got to meet Pat a few years ago at a scheduling conference and thank him in person for all of the help and direction he had given to me over the years.

I am truly grateful that I got to work with him and he was right we did make a pretty good team.  He was a remarkable man and I will miss him.
