Patricia Lee Snodgrass Lousteau

June 13, 1928 – November 20, 2018

Patricia Lee Snodgrass Lousteau, 90, of Pensacola Beach, Florida, passed away on Tuesday, November 20, at 11:11 p.m. in her home surrounded by family. Patricia was born on June 13, 1928 in Louisville, Kentucky to John Francis and Gertrude Irene Brownfield. Patricia attended Presentation Academy, Spaulding College and the University of West Florida where she received the degree of Bachelor of Arts in Marketing. Patricia, wife of Lt. Col. John W. Snodgrass, Jr. (deceased), was blessed with twelve children. After raising her children, Patricia enjoyed working in the real estate field for a season but her passion and love for God led her on mission trips worldwide. She considers one of her greatest achievements to be that of a lay chaplain assisting Father John Smith at West Florida Hospital in Pensacola, Florida. Patricia was a lifelong member of St. Anne’s Catholic Church in Gulf Breeze and Our Lady of Assumption on Pensacola Beach. She is preceded in death by her husband, John, her second husband, Albert Lousteau, her parents, a son, Eric Paul, a grandson, Ivan Bjorn, two sisters, Betty Lincoln and Mary Alvey, a brother, John Brownfield, and many other loved ones. Patricia is survived by her brother Gerald Brownfield, her sons, John Whitney Snodgrass (Donna), Gerald Francis Snodgrass (Dixie), Stephen Glenn Snodgrass (Rhonda), David Snodgrass Scott (Krista), and daughters, Patricia Karen Sevi (Al), Kathleen Pride Snodgrass, Karole Marie Jares (Ken), Kevin Irene Randall (Mark), Kristen Lee Tucker, Marianne Kay Clarke, Kara Michelle Logan (Craig), and twenty-six grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on Friday, Dec. 28 at 9:30 a.m. at the Naval Aviation Memorial Chapel in Pensacola, Florida. A graveside service will follow at Barrancas National Cemetery.
