Donald Emmitt Goldsby

March 22, 1935 - November 28, 2018

Donald Emmitt Goldsby, 83, of Pensacola, FL went to be with the Lord on November 28, 2018. He was the son of Owen Gavin “Jake” Goldsby and Alice May (Helton) Goldsby. He was born March 22, 19355 in Pensacola, Florida. He was there ninth child. He married Lura Lane Burgans on May 18, 1956 in Pensacola, Florida.

He is preceded in death by his parents, 8 siblings, Clyde, Roland, Elsie (Goldsby) Price, Clara (Goldsby) Wade, Owen Delmar, Earl, and Raymond.

Donald is survived by his son, Timothy Goldsby; granddaughter, Samantha (John) Perea; grandson, Dakota L. Schwartz, and numerous nieces, nephews, and many friends.

A visitation was held at Trahan Family Funeral Home on Friday, December 7, 2018 from 6:00p.m. -8:00p.m.

A Second Visitation was held on Saturday December 8, 2018 at Indian Creek Church in Alabama. Burial followed in Indian Creek Church Cemetery.

He will be dearly loved and missed.
