Ruth Elizabeth Strader “Maw”
(October 4, 1946 – December 8, 2018)
Ruth Elizabeth Strader “Maw” 72, of Pensacola, went to be with the Lord on December 8, 2018. She was born to Dorothy and John Emmons on October 4, 1946 in Houston, TX. She was an employee with Escambia County Department of Community Corrections as a Court Liaison for 23 years.
Maw loved her family and especially proud to be a grandmother to her 2 boys. She was a loving Mother, Grandmother, and Friend. Maw never met a stranger.
She is preceded in death by her parents, John D. and Dorothy Emmons; brother, John C. Emmons; 3 sisters, Patty Frederickson, Mary Froelich, and Janet L. Monti.
Maw lives to cherish her memories of her son, Sal Quinones; daughter, Jennifer (Mike) Carnley; two grandchildren, Gavin and Ashton Carnley; one sister, Carol Ann Cook; as well as several nieces and nephews.
A viewing will be held 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., Thursday, December 13, 2018 at Trahan Family Funeral Home in Pensacola. Her going home service will began immediately after 5:00 p.m.
