Obituary for Myrtle Dean McLeod
Myrtle was born in Covington County, Alabama, on January 8, 1932.
She had resided in Pace, since 1966. She was a member of Bible Baptist Church in Pace. She worked at Chemstrand/Monsanto until her retirement to become a full time homemaker.
She is survived by her husband of 70 years, Clayton McLeod; her children, Gwen (Forest) Myers, Teresa McLeod, Betty McLeod, Kim McLeod; grandchildren, Shawn Martin, Kasey Deanda, Jacob Burkins; great-grandchildren, Kyle Myers, Rhea Deanda, Ella Lewis, Vera Martin, and Madi Martin.
The family would like to offer a special Thank You to Emerald Coast Hospice.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 17 at Trahan Family Funeral Home of Milton from 5 – 7 p.m.
Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 18, at 11:00 a.m. also at the funeral home. Rev. Danny Brock will officiate with burial at Serenity Gardens Cemetery.
