Clinton Tanna Mathis, 68, of Pensacola passed away on January 5, 2019.
He was a charming, funny, hardworking man who loved fishing, hunting and home cooked foods.
Clinton was a loving husband and father.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Betty Mathis, parents, Alex and Annie Mae Mathis; sisters, Louis Boehmer and Annette Elliott and brothers, Rudolph Ward, Harial Ward and Lamar Mathis.
Clinton leaves to cherish his memories: his children: Tim (Melissa) Mathis and Tamatha (Kevin) Beasley; brothers: Eugene (Lennie) Ward, Terry (Rosenia) Ward and Don (Diane) Mathis; grandchildren: Chaz Mathis, Annie Mathis and Isabell Laws; great-grandchild: Bentley Marotz; step grandchildren: Nevaeh and Bella and their grandmother, Jeri Mathis and a host of relatives and friends.
Visitation will be from 11:30 a.m. until funeral service begins at 12:30 p.m., Friday, January 11, 2019 at Trahan Family Funeral Home, Pensacola with burial at Pensacola Memorial Gardens.
