Obituary for Samuel H. Frye
Samuel H. Frye
March 6, 1937 – January 20, 2019
Samuel H. Frye, 81, of Pensacola, FL went to be with the Lord on January 20, 2019 at Covenant Care. Samuel was born in Lagrange County, Indiana to his parents, Henry and Lydia Frye.
Samuel was raised in the Amish community and became a skilled woodworker. He served his country proudly joining the Army and afterwards went on to build mobile homes with family in Indiana. Samuel moved to Pensacola and in 1982 met the love of his life, his wife Nancy C. Frye and during this time and for the next 35 years, he owned and operated his own business with his wife called Sunshine Ceramics.
He is preceded in death by his father, Henry S. Frye; mother, Lydia Troyer Frye; and wife, Nancy C. Frye.
He leaves to cherish his memories his daughters, Tonya Thibodeaux and Kathy Wombles; son, Frank (Steven) Davis; seven grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, and a host of extended friends and family.
The family would like to give a special Thank you to Covenant Hospice.
A private service will take place at Barrancas National Cemetery at a later date.
