Obituary for Paula Jane Tarantino

We celebrate the life of Paula Jane Tarantino, born to Arnon Lamar Scruggs and Elma Jane Sowers Scruggs on June 15, 1963 in Anaheim, California.

She is preceded in death by her father, Arnon Lamar Scruggs; her older sister, Cindy Kay Scruggs Snavely and her baby sister, Cheryl Lynn Scruggs.

She was a loving mother, survived by her daughter, Rachael Marie Joyner Shumaker (Jerry); sons, Roy Richard Joyner (Sherrie), Nicholas Ryan Tarantino, and Bryceson Nathaniel Tarantino; mom, Elma Jane Sowers Scruggs. She was the world’s greatest Nana to her grandchildren: Jade Shumaker Sigmon (Jon), Dennis Eugene, Baylen Matthew, Jerry Leonard, Jackson Ricky, Rebecca Rayne, and honorary granddaughter, Daysha Davis. She is also survived by her two older brothers, Robert Arthur Scruggs (Cindy) and Daniel Richard Scruggs. She is also survived and greatly loved by her cousins, nieces, nephews, and many other close family members and friends.

She suffers no more and has a new body in heaven with her loving Savior, Christ Jesus.

Trahan Family Funeral Home of Milton is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation will be Thursday, May 2, 2019, 6-8 p.m.; Service will be Friday, May 3, 2019, at 11:00 a.m., both will be held at Trahan Family Funeral Home of Milton, burial to follow at Serenity Gardens Cemetery.
