Obituary for Scott Matthew Latin
Scott Matthew Latin, 55, of Pensacola, FL was born on August 26, 1963 at Grant Hospital in Chicago, Illinois to Jerome Latin and Diana (Kernan) Latin. Scott passed away peacefully at his home on June 14, 2019.
Scott and Michelle moved to Pensacola in August of 2017. He was retired from his family’s Autobody business in Evanston, Illinois. Scott’s dream was to retire in Pensacola, Florida as he loved the beautiful beaches and the Blue Angels. Scott spent most of his time gardening and going with Michelle to the beach.
Scott is preceded in death by his oldest brother Dr. Richard Latin.
He is Survived by his loving partner of 12.5 years, Michelle Harding and his loving feline companion, Ruby; his surviving siblings; Louise Latin Fitzsimmons and partner, Randy Ellison, (Chicago), Jeffrey and Cindy Gonzalez Latin (Skokie), and Steve and Jill Latin. He has many nieces and nephews.
There will be a memorial for Scott at Smith-Corcoran Funeral Home on July 12, 2019 from 3-8 p.m. and a memorial service at 6:30 p.m. in Chicago at 6150 N Cicero Ave, Chicago, Illinois. Scott was cremated at Trahan Family Funeral Home in Pensacola, FL.
