Cynthia Ann Taylor, 61, of Pensacola, Florida passed away on July 9th, 2019. She was born on December 26, 1957 to George R. Taylor Sr. and Joann Fowler McCloud in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.
During her youth, Cynthia was in the marching band at Tuscaloosa County High school, and went on to graduate in 1976. Following graduation, she served in the U.S. Navy, as well as the Reserves. She also attended George Stone Vocational Center in Pensacola, Florida. She worked as a security guard on NAS Pensacola, and retired from the City of Pensacola after receiving an award for saving someone’s life.
Cynthia was preceded in death by both of her parents- George R. Taylor Sr. and Joann Fowler McCloud.
Cynthia is survived by her sister- Elizabeth Gail Harger; brother- Roy Taylor Jr. (Kathy); along with many cousins.
She will be dearly missed by all her friends and family.
The service will be held at Trahan Family Funeral Home on Monday, July 15, 2019, with the visitation at 11:30 AM and the service to follow at 12:30 PM. After the service, there will be a procession going to Barrancas National Cemetery for her final resting place. Trahan Family Funeral Home will be overseeing the arrangements.
