Obituary for Ella Louise McDaniel
Ella Louise McDaniel, age 61, passed away on Saturday, May 16, 2020, after an extended battle with cancer. She was born November 13, 1958 in Sioux City, Iowa to Wayne Cearing and Helen (Maciejack) Cearing.
Ella grew up in Franklin, Indiana and was known to family and friends as Lou. She served in the United States Navy which brought her to Pensacola, Florida where she met her husband David McDaniel, Sr. Ella and David were married April 2, 1987 and resided in Pensacola. They raised 2 daughters and were blessed with many grandchildren. She was a realtor, past president of the Pensacola Association of Realtors, and an avid supporter of the Tate High School marching band. After retirement, she and her husband enjoyed traveling around the country in their RV.
She is preceded in death by both her parents, Wayne and Helen Cearing, and her granddaughter, Scarlett Powell.
She is survived by her husband; David McDaniel, Sr.; by her daughters Jennifer Powell (Cody), Jessica McDaniel; grandchildren, Brayden, Kalub, Taylor, Aidan, Logan, Liam, and Lily; and her brothers, Richard Cearing and Steve Cearing.
Memorial services will be held at Heritage Baptist Church located at 3065 County Road 297A, Cantonment, Florida 32533 from 3:30-4:30 on Friday, May 29, 2020. Flowers and condolences in memory of Ella can be sent to the church.
