Obituary for Willie Nathan Johns

Willie was one of seven brothers, that included Perry Johns Jr., Archie Johns, Paul Johns, Bill Johns, Robert Johns and Johnny Johns that were born to Perry Johns and Minnie Nathan Johns, from Pensacola, that are in Heaven guiding him and loving him.

Willie lived in Pensacola and was a self-employed automobile upholsterer at Penton's Trim Shop. He was also known as "Mr. Custom" and considered by many "The best in the land". His client list included Boxer and local philanthropist, Roy Jones Jr. Rapper, Fiddy Cent, many local attorneys and our Sheriff, David Morgan. I would be remiss to leave out that he upholstered the car that Johnboy Walton drove in the TV series, The Waltons.
Willie also was a NASCAR fan.
Kyle Bush being a favorite!

Our beloved Willie left us somewhat suddenly and unexpectedly from an undiagnosed illness. (God bless him) He left behind in deep sorrow, me, Tammy, known as both a burden and a blessing. He is the greatest man that I've ever known. I owe him gratitude beyond words and love that will always be.

Willie is the father of four beautiful daughters; Dewana Hayes., Tina Watson (Donald) of Pensacola, Shelley Carnley (Ricky) of Defuniak Springs and our daughter Christine Thompson (Travis) of Pensacola. He loved his daughters deeply.

He also has eleven grandchildren, some that lived close by that he cherished, as he did them all.
Many other family members and friends that he cared deeply for and will greatly miss him.
This world won't be the same without him.

We can only take comfort knowing that he passed comfortably and is sitting with our Lord and Savior,Jesus Christ and we will be with him again, some day.
Save us a seat by you, Willie.
We love you and grieve unimaginably.
With love and more love, your family!
