George “Fox Squirrel” Smith Sr., 71 passed away November 1, 2020. He was born on November 6, 1948 in Pensacola, FL.
George was known as a great fisherman, patient hunter, loving father, faithful husband, and caring grandfather.
He will be greeted by his mother, Mickey Smith and father, David Wayne Smith; three brothers, M.J., Allen, and Danny; as well as his sister, Diane Smith; and daughter-in-law, Joann Turner.
Even though George has passed, he will always live and be carried on by his beloved wife of 53 years, Janice Geri Smith; brother, David Smith; sons, George “Bubba” Smith Jr., David Allen, and James Robert Smith; daughters, Melissa “Sissy” Smith, and Jamie Cherubini; also four nieces; two nephews; and ten grandchildren, Oleescia, Tabitha, Jaret, Desiray, Jessica, Summer, Sarah, Nate, Chase, and Eve; as well as many great grandchildren; honorable michan, Michael and Jess.
George’s service will be Friday, October 13th, 2020, at Trahan Family Funeral Home in Pensacola.
A visitation will begin at 3:00 pm, and the service following at 4:00.
