Obituary for Virginia Elnora Ramey

Virginia "Ginger" Elnora Bullington Ramey, age 71 of Pensacola, FL, lost her battle with cancer on Saturday, March 2, 2019.
Virginia was born in Pensacola, FL on September 20, 1947. She was a lifelong resident of Pensacola and a graduate of Pensacola High School. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and aunt.
She cherished time with her family and close friends and loved to cook, work crosswords, watch classic movies, but most of all take care of her puppy dog Daisy. She was kind, loving, with a contagious smile.
Virginia is preceded in death by her parents, James Bullington, Sr. and Elnora Bullington; brother James Bullington, Jr.; sister Sandra White; and her beloved son, Thomas Manning.
Survivors include her loving sons Daniel Manning (Agnes) and Clay Ramey (Jenn Valazquez); her grandchildren, Christopher Manning, Autumn Ramey, Elijah Ramey, and Lenora Ramey; her sisters Patty Tidwell (Bob) and Brenda Withers (Lon); six nephews and one niece; as well as several extended family members and close friends.
The family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to Dr. Tarek Eldawy of Sacred Heart Oncology and Covenant Hospice for their compassionate care.
Public visitation is at 12:00 p.m. with the funeral service to be held immediately after at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 9, 2019 with her nephew, Pastor Tim Tidwell, officiating. Interment to follow.
Trahan Family Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Donations in Virginia’s name to a favorite charity are welcome.
