Obituary for Raymond J Blair

Raymond Joseph Blair, Sr., age 67 of Pensacola, FL, passed away at home after a lengthy battle with cancer on Tuesday, March 19, 2019. He was born in Baltimore, Maryland to the late George and Kathryn Blair on February 3, 1952. He was also preceded in death by his son James Blair and grandson Mikey Kearney Blair. He had been a resident of Pensacola, FL since 2009. Ray served in the United States Marine Corp for 18 years. He then did logistical work for several years. In most recent years, Ray was a manager for Pep boys until he retired in 2018. Ray rarely met a stranger and had the best sense of humor. He loved working with his hands, especially on cars. He was an amazing husband and father. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his wife Edith Blair; three sons, Justin Keith; Raymond Blair, Jr and wife Clare; Tommy Blair and wife Mallory; two daughters, Paula Blair-Johns and husband Steve; Jodi Nickels and husband Mike; six grandchildren Kurt Blair, Tamara Blair, Emily Blair, Mason Nickels, Gage Nickels and Savanna Nickels. Two brothers, Bunkey Blair and Jerry Blair; sister Margie Ehart and husband Charlie. Father-in-law, James Keith; Sister-in-law Tammy Keith and her daughter Megan John; Brother-in-law Todd Page; Brother-in law Scott Keith and wife Peggy and their children, Rachel, Rebecca and Ryan. He is also survived by countless other loving relatives and friends.
Funeral Services are to be announced. They will be held at Trahan Family Funeral Home with Interment to follow at Barrancas National Cemetery.
